   Offensive, Dave, Offensive to this Christian. Between songs such as this and the focus on spending, I can see why the significance of Christmas has been lost. Americans ignore the fact that Bethlehem of which they sing is surrounded by an obscene ugly wall and Palestinian Christians and Muslims are persecuted by Israeli Zionists. Churches will have their nativity scene ignoring the truth that neither Joseph, Mary or Jesus, wise men or shepards would be allowed thru the Israeli check points now. The Israelis are starving the Gazans while pressuring Egypt with the American Gov. to not allow the international food/clothing caravans access to Gaza. Hawaiis Ann Wright is participating with Code Pink and others. What is important is what is happening now in the World/Holy Land.

   Pat:

   Why don't you move to the West Bank? If you don't like what you see & hear, then do something about it - and doing is not the same thing as talking, b**tching, complaining, calling people names, and sitting on your okole.

   Want some role models? How about Doctors Without Borders? Instead of sitting in their nice offices and treating old futs with lots of money, these medical professionals are out in the real world taking care of people who really need help.

   How about the folks at Voter-Owned Hawai`i or the Sierra Club? Or Keith Amemiya at the Hawaii High School Athletic Association? Or the founders of Faith Action For Community Equity?

   Why should anyone pay any attention to you? Yadda, yadda, yadda. Go to the Left Bank and feed the hungry, shelter the homeless, take care of the sick & injured - then maybe someone might listen to you.

   WALK THE WALK or shut up.

    Pat once again proved my point that the Democrat party had become the refuge of the worst Anti Semitic element in our country.

    All of this started with the "saintly" FDR who refused to bomb concentration camps to ensure that most of the European Jewry would get exterminated by the Nazis. (And who can forget his treatment of the Japanese Americans - surely a gret example of the Democrat philosophy in action).

    Even before that, Woodrow Wilson who was a vicious Anti Semite and an admirer of the Fascist regime of Benito Mussolini had some incredible things to say about the evil Jews. (Lets remember that he used to be a thirteenth president of Princeton!)

    JImmy Carter decided to apologize to the Jews this Christmas! This is after writing a screed comparing the state of Israel to the South Africa and palling with Hamas at every opportunity.

    As to Barak Obama... Two words: Rev. Wright. Need I say more.

    By the way if Pat is a Christian then I am a Zoroastrian indeed. Modern Christianity had rejected Anti Semitism; unfortunately all Liberal Christian denominations had slipped back into the Tzarist "Protocols of the Elders of Zion" mode.

    Pat, let me re-assure you that the Palestinian Christians are driven from their lands and persecuted not by the Israelis but by the Palestinian Moslems. Israeli checkpoints stopped all suicide bombings for awhile now - a fact that upsets Jew haters like you.

    Pat, membership in the Democrat party and the Democrat platform are incompatible with the Christian principles of faith to begin with; your Anti Semitism is just another proof of this incompatibility.

    Please belive me - no one mistakes a Democrat like you for a Christian. Keep on trucking brother - I really enjoy your posts!
